Robert W. Winston III, Chief Executive Officer

Robert W. Winston, III is Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of Winston Hospitality, Inc. Mr. Winston was also founder, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Winston Hotels, Inc from March 1994 to July 2007. Winston Hotels, Inc., a real estate investment trust publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, was acquired by Inland American Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. in July 2007. He received an A.B. in economics and political science in 1984 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University. Winston is currently a Director of the Research Triangle Foundation. He is a member of the Institute of the Arts and Humanities Board of Advisors and the National Development Council. He is a past member of the University's Board of Visitors and a former treasurer of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. He is the former chair of the Raleigh-Durham International Airport Authority Board, former trustee for Ravenscroft High School, and a former board member of the North Carolina Economic Development Board, the North Carolina Art Museum Foundation and the Wake County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Kenneth Crockett

Kenneth R. Crockett is co-owner of Winston Hospitality, Inc. and oversees the Company's operations of development.  Current development properties include hotels to be licensed under Marriott, Hilton and Starwood brands. For the prior 12 years, Mr. Crockett served as Executive Vice President, Chief Development Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Winston Hotels, Inc.  Mr. Crockett began his career in commercial and mortgage banking, as well as commercial development in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with several academic honors. Mr. Crockett currently serves as Treasurer of the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau Board and immediate past Chairman of the NC Hospitality Education Foundation Board. He is a past President of the Broughton High School Caps Club and a former member of the Raleigh Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

Michael Heeden, President

Michael B. Heeden serves as President of Winston Hospitality. Mr. Heeden has over 14 years experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining the Company as President, he worked with Alliance Hospitality, Interstate Hotels and Resorts and Winston Hospitality. During this time, he worked extensively with Hilton and Marriott brands and has experience with both select and full-service hotels.  Mr. Heeden's management experience also included managing an independent hotel and conference center located at the University of Connecticut as well as Golf Course Management in Augusta Georgia. Mr. Heeden is a native of North Carolina. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration.

Brent West, Chief Financial Officer

Brent V. West serves as Chief Financial Officer of Winston Hospitality, Inc,.  Mr. West began his career working for the public accounting firm of KPMG.  For the ten years prior to joining the Company, Mr. West served as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Winston Hotels, Inc.  During his tenure with Winston Hotels, Mr. West helped raise over $600 million in debt and equity financing through credit facilities, mortgage loans and follow-on public offerings.  Mr. West was also responsible for all the SEC public filings for Winston Hotels.  Mr. West is a CPA and is a graduate of Plattsburgh State University College, Plattsburgh, New York, with a B.S. degree in Accounting.

Craig Eick, Executive Vice-President

Craig D. Eick serves as Executive Vice President of Winston Hospitality, Inc. Working through High School and College, Mr. Eick draws upon  a construction and development career spanning  30 years. General Contractor experience includes positions with Daniels International and J.D. Beam, Inc where Mr. Eick served as Vice President before joining Winston Hotels, Inc in 1996. At Winston Hotels, Mr. Eick served as Vice President of Development until the company was sold in July 2007.  Mr. Eick is a Graduate of the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Mr. Eick is a licensed General Contractor in the State of North Carolina.
