Robert W. Winston III - Chief Executive Officer

Robert W. Winston, III is Chief Executive Officer and owner of Winston Hospitality, Inc. Mr. Winston was also founder, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Winston Hotels, Inc from March 1994 to July 2007. Winston Hotels, Inc., a real estate investment trust publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, was acquired by Inland American Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. in July 2007. He received a B.A. in economics and political science in 1984 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and previously served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University. Winston is currently a Director of the Research Triangle Foundation. He is a member of the Institute of the Arts and Humanities Board of Advisors and the National Development Council. He is a past member of the University's Board of Visitors and a former treasurer of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. He is the former chair of the Raleigh-Durham International Airport Authority Board, former trustee for Ravenscroft High School, and a former board member of the North Carolina Economic Development Board, the North Carolina Art Museum Foundation and the Wake County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Michael Heeden - President

Michael B. Heeden serves as President of Winston Hospitality.  Mr. Heeden has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.  Prior to joining the Company as President, he worked with Alliance Hospitality and Interstate Hotels and Resorts.  Mr. Heeden has worked extensively with Hilton, Marriott, Starwood and IHG brands as well as Independent Casino hotels in the Native American Gaming Industry.  Mr. Heeden's management experience also includes Golf Course Management in Augusta Georgia. Mr. Heeden is a native of North Carolina.  He is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration.

Brent West - Chief Financial Officer

Brent V. West serves as Chief Financial Officer of Winston Hospitality, Inc,.  Mr. West began his career working for the public accounting firm of KPMG.  For the ten years prior to joining the Company, Mr. West served as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Winston Hotels, Inc.  During his tenure with Winston Hotels, Mr. West helped raise over $600 million in debt and equity financing through credit facilities, mortgage loans and follow-on public offerings.  Mr. West was also responsible for all the SEC public filings for Winston Hotels.  Mr. West is a CPA and is a graduate of Plattsburgh State University College, Plattsburgh, New York, with a B.S. degree in Accounting.

Jay Davies - Managing Director of Investments

Jay Davies serves as Winston's Managing Director of Investments. Mr. Davies' responsibilities include leading acquisitions activities and asset management for Winston's secondary market credit investments. Additionally, Mr. Davies is involved in Winston's capital structure, strategy, and other new business development initiatives.  Prior to joining Winston, Mr. Davies was the Director of Acquisitions for a Seattle-based private hospitality investment firm.  Mr. Davies began his career in commercial real estate in 2004 in the Orange County, CA office of HFF, Inc., a capital markets intermediary.  Mr. Davies holds a M.B.A. from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill, with a concentration in finance, and a B.S. from Vanderbilt University.

Patti Bell - Corporate Director of Human Resources

Patti Bell serves as Corporate Director of Human Resources of Winston Hospitality, Inc.  Prior to joining Winston Hospitality, Ms. Bell served as Vice President and Director of Investor Relations, Administration and Human Resources for Winston Hotels.  Prior to her positions with Winston Hotels, she held previous positions in sales/marketing with an Insurance Financial Group and sales manager in the hotel sector.  Patti has over 20 years of experience in employee benefits and administration and holds licenses in the State of North Carolina for Life, Accident, Health and Sickness.  She is an active member of the Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association and the Society for Human Resources Management.  Patti was a past member of the National Investor Relations Institute for a number of years.  Patti is a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College with a B.S. degree in Business Administration.
